As promised, here is the second round of my wedding pictures (if you missed part one, see them here). Once we finished up at the park, we headed into a well-known street in Perth called King Street for some more urban-style shots. I’m always changing my mind about whether I prefer the park or city photos!
We were really lucky that, perhaps because of the weather, the city was really quiet. We were able to walk right in the middle of what is usually a pretty busy road.
This truly was the happiest day of my life. I’m not going to say it will always remain the best day of my life, but I’m yet to feel happier. I always thought I would cry at my wedding, but I never did. The feeling of love and happiness I had on this day was overwhelming, and my heart has never felt so full. All that mattered on that day was Rob and I being together. We wrote our own vows together, and they will always remain the most meaningful words I’ve ever spoken.
We only had 20 guests at our ceremony, and 15 at the dinner. It was small and intimate, and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. The whole wedding, including my dress and our flights to and from Perth, cost less than $5000. I think we did pretty well!
