Aussie, Aussie, Aussie!

Aussie, Aussie, Aussie!

Are you getting sick of me talking about Australia yet? 😛

First thing’s first: I’ve had quite a few people email me about this, and I will still be offering online coaching while I’m away. Excluding the four days I’m in Sydney, I will be online every day and writing programs as normal. I love coaching and I’m not going to disappear on you guys and gals!

Sydney advice
I had to change my flight to Sydney so I will now be in my favourite Aussie city from Monday April 20 to Friday April 24. I was trying to make a reservation at my favourite restaurant (Ocean Room, in the overseas passenger terminal opposite the opera house), but was devastated to find it has temporarily closed for renovations.

So, Sydney-siders, I need help: where is a decent, romantic restaurant in Sydney with a good view (preferably in Circular Quay)? I’m thinking Aria or Ananas as a back-up choice. I’ve never been to Aria but I have only heard good things and, although Ananas doesn’t have the view, it is another one of my old faves.

Also, where can I find a good burger in Sydney these days?

I feel like a child counting down, but five sleeps to go!

This weekend
While it is depressing to be at work on a public holiday, I can take pleasure in knowing that it’s my last day in the office for four whole weeks. Oh yes.

The Breakfast Club (one of my favourites!) is serving two new pancake varieties for this Easter weekend only: Creme Egg and carrot cake. Em and I are having our last squat session for a while, followed by (or perhaps preceded by?) these bad boys. Fellow Londoners, get on it!

My diet has been on point the past few weeks, so this will be a well-deserved “cheat” meal. It will come right before I spend 24 hours in transit, relying on airport and plane food, so I will thoroughly enjoy every mouthful.

Although I’ve spent the past couple of weeks running around like a madwoman, and this weekend will be no exception, time has still somehow managed to move painfully slow. Isn’t that always the case when something you really want is just within reach?

I also finally finished reading the book Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World that Can’t Stop Talking by Susan Cain. I highly recommend it! I definitely consider myself an introvert who, because of my line of work, often has to put on a show of extroversion. This book explained a lot about my character and temperament, and made me appreciate my introversion that little bit more.

Sorry for the lack of quality posts lately. Life is just a bit crazy (yes, all will be revealed soon!) so blogging unfortunately has taken a backseat. I promise to check in one more time before I shoot off.

What have you got planned for Easter? Would you choose Creme Eggs or Carrot Cake pancakes?
