I provide individual nutrition and training programs specifically targeted towards your needs. Each program is uniquely designed relative to your background and your goals, based on my opinion that there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach to training. It is very important to have a trainer behind you that can analyse how your body is responding to certain foods and exercise and make modifications as you go along, as well as to hold you accountable.
I have coached more than 150 people through online programming, but limit places to 20 at a time to ensure I provide full attention to each client under my care. I will update the top of this page when all of my coaching spots are full.

The programs below last six weeks unless specified otherwise, during which time you will receive unlimited email support from me (I respond to all emails within 24 hours). Based on progress pictures and self-reporting, I may modify the program at no extra charge if deemed necessary.
Online Nutrition Program – US$100
Following a review of your current eating habits, I will create a nutrition plan which provides a full macronutrient breakdown of your daily intake including meal suggestions. This will be very specific and will tell you exactly what portions to eat at what time. I can accommodate intermittent fasting, vegetarian and vegan diets, Paleo and other types of eating. I will provide a meal plan for workout days and non-workout days.
I do not promote starvation diets, so expect to eat substantial portions of healthy food. If your goal is to lose weight or build muscle, each nutrition program will last four to six weeks before needing alteration. I aim to educate my clients about proper nutrition so that you will be able to take charge of your own nutrition for the rest of your life. Online Metabolic Repair Nutrition Program – US$150
Metabolic damage caused by restrictive dieting and over-exercising is an issue which is all too common among women today. It is something which I have personally experienced and written extensively about on my blog. Healing a damaged metabolism is a complex process which involves taking a thorough client history and frequent client monitoring. As the plan will involve a fair amount of experimentation and modifications, this program will involve a slightly longer time frame of 12 weeks. You can expect to receive an initial nutrition plan for workout days and non-workout days, which I will then usually update every two weeks depending on how your body adjusts. This program will not heal your metabolism overnight, but it will enable you to gradually get healthy and eat more than you ever have before!

Online 6 Week Workout Program – US$100
Whether you’re unsure where to begin in the gym or have been training for years but are no longer seeing results, I will provide you with a unique six-week workout program which will be enjoyable yet extremely effective. Each program will suit your schedule and is based around your training preferences, but will also push you to new heights. Depending on your goals, you can expect to train three to five days per week, with either full body workouts, an upper/lower body split, or a body part split program. My programs have a resistance-based focus, however, most people can also expect to do one to two cardio sessions per week.
I will provide the exercises and number of sets and repetitions. I will also provide cardio workouts, which are usually high-intensity circuit exercises to keep things fun. All my programs are based on solid training principles, with no gimmicks or fitness trends, and will give you long-term results.
Online 6 Week Nutrition and Workout Program – US$150
The best results will come from a complementary nutrition and training plan, both of which are described above. Training will help to sculpt your body, but only if your nutrition is in check. The majority of my clients are currently receiving both nutrition and workout programs. This combined program will cover six weeks of training and nutrition.
Online 12 Week Metabolic Repair Nutrition and Workout Program – US$250
In conjunction with the metabolic repair nutrition plan outlined above, this package also includes 12 weeks of workouts. This will include two completely different six-week workout programs, one of which will be designed at the beginning of the period and one half-way through.
Nutrition and Workout Program Renewal – US$75
This option is for those that have already completed a six-week nutrition and workout program only. It includes a brand new training program, as well as a modification of your existing nutrition program.

A little under a year ago I was in a major workout rut. I stopped seeing any progress – I had measly chicken arms, a pancake booty & I was doing cardio like a madwoman. I was exhausted, muscleless & at my breaking point. I had always been a huge fan of Tara’s – she is smart, funny & legitimately knows her stuff about the fitness industry. At the age of 13, I was diagnosed with a common hormonal imbalance called polycystic ovarian syndrome. Being an extremely active athlete throughout most of my life, I never experienced many of the common issues associated with PCOS. Once I embarked on my journey to higher education, I became strict with my studies and let my fitness slip away. I succeeded with my schooling and completed my licensing as a Registered Optician in 2010. PCOS had already affected me by causing unexplained weight gain and feelings of fogginess on a daily basis. I began exercising daily doing endless amounts of cardio and began experimenting with my diet by trying vegetarian, vegan, and ketogenic thinking these diets would lead me to the an optimum level of health. I was starting to cut calories while exercising more and my body began fighting against me. After seeing several doctors and then a naturopath, I became discouraged that no one could help me restore my health.
I came across Tara’s blog and was so moved by her compassion and love for helping others. I became her client in September 2012 with a nutrition and training program. Tara has honestly changed my life. I say this is in the most heartfelt way. I encompassed her philosophy “lift heavy” which I am now so passionate about. A few months ago I wrote to you that something finally clicked about actually lifting heavy weights, and I must say I am still making gains in strength and body composition. I got a new PR on DL- 155! Per the exrx table, I am past the novice weights and close to intermediate for all lifts! I also have lost around 6 lbs and have maintained this weight for a couple months now, even with holiday treats! Overall I have gained only about 10lbs but I am loving the way my body is responding and how I look! I only weigh myself out of curiosity every couple of months, but otherwise go by how I feel. I think my body is finally coming around thanks to you, heavy weights, and normal eating! Most importantly, those crazy internal thought processes on wanting to restrict and purge have dissipated to almost nothing!

Tara has been pivotal in my pursuit of weight training. At the outset, prior to my even starting a program with her, she was remarkably friendly, accessible and patient with all my questions. I first reached out to Tara for training advice because I needed some motivation in my workouts; I had never talked to a trainer before, and I had been lifting heavy for a little over a year. Until Tara, I had either created my own workouts or done one from BodyBuilding.com (ie: Jamie Eason’s Live Fit) but I wanted a change- I wanted a workout that was designed for me, my goals, and one that was a program rather than a random collection of upper body exercises I decided to compile that day.
